Camp Blog

Hi guys!
Just a quick blog from camp - I'm using the office internet, so I'll make it brief.

It's starting to feel like Op Camp.....a camper pulled a knife on a counselor, we've said that we'll miss all the disgruntled campers that are leaving (they changed their minds when they realized that they really don't know where they are), and one of our campers had to be held up against the wall due to a manic tantrum. Cary will be disappointed if we don't have an offical "runaway." He really gets a kick following them down the dirt road and watching them getting scared.

Did I mention that our theme is "respect?" Tonight is talent show and the women mentors are going to stage "cat fights" and promote our new motto: "Save the Drama for Yo Mama."

Our new girls "spa class" is a big hit. At the end of our "Jam for the Lord plus yoga" session, we put lavender scented cold paper towels on their foreheads- they love it.

The counselors are amazing -extra good this year - not to mention "Miss Bailey" is quite the cool counselor. She's been so good with these kids - she's been in training for awhile with her nieces & nephews!
