Back home (?) again

Just a quick note to say we're home in Tyler again. We had a good but quick visit with Randy and Anda at their weekly ice cream neighborhood party. What a great outreach! And his root beer ice cream was great! Their guest room is looking beautiful, and it was so sweet to talk to their kids, especially McKenna about her baptism.

Ben went straight to the office (about 1 a.m.) and finished packing it up so the interns can have it. He got home at 6:30 this morning. I hope they can appreciate the extra day they have to enjoy his office. Jeff really wanted him out of there. So it's done. He turned in his keys and phone and everything. It's a little sad to me, but part of it, I guess.

We so enjoyed our time in Midland/Odessa! I can't wait to get there. Sitting in our new house in Odessa Sunday and Monday with company both times just felt right!

Time for breakfast for the kiddos! We love you all!

Okay, that is SO not okay that poor Ben had to stay at his office all night!! Where's the grace!? That's all I'll say - just read Ephesians this morning about only saying what is helpful for building other up, so I'm done with my little venting! Ha!
We loved seeing you guys last p.m! Your kids are so sweet - we're really hoping you get to make it to the lake this weekend. So would you tell RB to go with orange sherbert or root beer ice cream for the family?! He may soon need some counseling about his ice cream addiction issues!

Love you guys,
Anda

Orange sherbert without a doubt.

I don't know--the root beer was good, much like a root beer float. But I think orange sherbert is one of my favorites!

Has he developed a chocolate concoction? How about a little chocolate with Reeses or something?

We're thinking about using your homemade ice cream inspiration as we get together with people to share our vision (and ask them for money!). It might be fun! And making ice cream is way less difficult than an entire meal!

Love you,
Trisha
