a poem by McKenna

''GRANDMAS''

Grandmas,
Grandmas.
Who would not love Grandmas.
Grandmas give you
lots of stuff,
and Grandmas love you
lots and lots.
Grandmas never, ever ll' be different,
unless they will turn,
hieroglyphic!

McKenna, you made my day with your wonderful poem. Your Grandma does love you LOTS and LOTS. I hope I never turn hieroglyphic however. Thank you for making me feel special. You are a very thoughtful and sweet girl. I can't wait to be with you again.

When I asked McKenna to explain the hieroglyphic line, she said that the point was that you won't ever be different because if you were you'd be a WALL! Ha!

Now wait a minute! We think Walls are pretty special! (Although I guess I hope Grandma doesn't turn into one...)

McKenna, you are showing great talent in writing! Love you,
Aunt Trisha Brown Wall
