Grandma Update
Well, Grandpa and I are enjoying a "Sabbath rest." We are at the lake just relaxing. We went to church in Brownwood and had planned to take Uncle Lealand and Aunt Wilda out to lunch, but she wasn't feeling well.
I had a wonderful week with Randy, Anda and their "little" family. I woke up this morning overwhelmed with joy and gratitude, but in total withdrawal from my Fort Worth Browns. I just kept thinking about Moriah running into my arms with a big hug, or Luke's sweet smile, or McKenna's giggle, or Josiah's enthusiastic recounting of various happenings at school or Isaac's big eyes listening intently to whatever I wanted to tell him. It was such a sweet time for me. I am so thankful for their willingness to let me participate in this special time in their lives. I am going to miss my middle of the night visits with Anda while she nursed Isaac. I am so proud of both Randy and Anda as parents. My heart bursts to think about the faith they are so beautifully passing down to their children.
Isaac is absolutely adorable and sooo good. When he is awake during the day, he will sit in his bouncy seat and look around until he falls asleep amid all the commotion of a big family. He will also put himself to sleep if you lay him in his crib most of the time. He loves to be talked to. His Grandma is quite simply in love with him.
Grandpa and I are going to Austin tomorrow to check on April. I may come back here (Prov Pt) to wait a few days. I'm trying not to worry too much about Christmas, but I am getting a little anxious about how I'm going to manage it all. I can't wait to meet #21. It is hard to fathom being more blessed.
I am also loving Tod and Connor's blogs. I am soooo proud of them both--thrilled at what they are getting to experience in our beloved Brazil. I know they are being incredibly blessed by the faith and love of our Brazilian church family there.
I am missing everyone in Midland/Odessa. When I think of Christmas, I really am wanting to be home to enjoy the season. But, it appears that this season is more about babies. I love it all.
I think the blog is the greatest. It is time for some of you lurkers to say a few words. I check the blog several times a day when I am away. I love to read every word. I am going to try to blog a few more pictures of Isaac soon.
Love, Mom
P.S. Three deer are right in front of the cottage almost on the porch. One was just staring at me. Now two are having a little scuffle. What a wonderful blessing this place is.
