Brasil, Dia Seis

Hey Gang,
It is 1:15 in the morning (Sunday) here. We just got home from the pizzeria after the amazing graduation service. The service lasted two and a half hours and then the party went for another hour after that. It was amazing. The graduates were terrific and the professors were beautiful. I had so many ask me to give thanks to GCR for supporting this work. It was a moving night. By the way, Zanatta surprised everyone. His graduation was tonight. For the last four years he has been working and he finished the required credits this semester. The kids cheered like crazy. He really is a beautiful man. I have never seen anything quite like this graduation. Dad was right when he said that he had never been to anything more formal in Brasil. It was a big deal. I said a few words and I will preach for the final time tomorrow. We have loved our time here, but we are ready to come home.

We may post some pictures in the morning. How did our racers do? We are really interested in how it went. We wanted to call but we aren't quite sure how to do it.

Here's Connor: Hey guys. Today was probably the coolest day yet we woke up and went to the new church that SerCris is building. It looks like its going to be a really neat place to worship God. Then we came home and I had pure sugar cane water. WOW, it was good. Very sweet as u probably already guessed. Every day I'm learning more and more Portuguese. It's really fun to try and communicate. Hey Grandma, do u think u can give me lessons? I really want to be fluent for the next time I come.Well after the church we went shopping for my mom ,Bailey, and Hutton. And we found something for every one. After that we got invited to the "Providece Point" of Brasil. I played soccer with Hicardo The famous coverted soccer player now a preacher. It was a lot of fun. Then we went to the house to rest until graduation . And I HAD to wear a suit. I hated the suit but loved the graduation. It was very beutiful.Finaly we went to a pizzaria.VEry diferent but good we had ice cream pizza for dessert. Well thats it for the day I dont think we can blog tommorow so see u when we get home.
In Him,
J. Connor Brown

Connor,
Of course I would be happy to teach you Portuguese. I cannot wait to get the full report. I am so proud of you learning some Portuguese. You will never be sorry that you can speak another language. It is really fun. Can't wait to see you. Love, Grandma

Tod and Connor,
Reagan and I emailed you about the race. Reagan was incredible. He came in 43rd out of everyone including all the adults. He ran it in 26 minutes! He placed third in his age group. I finished!! I think I was 120th or so and today I can hardly walk on my left leg. I thought I was just sore but I called Misti and she thinks I've strained my something...some ligament that runs along the outside of the knee and she said it would take several days to heal but I'm icing it and taking Aleve. I sound like I'm 60 not 40 but I've decided to heal and keep on running. We are ready for you to come home and help us decorate for Christmas. We thought that we could decorate the tree on Wednesday night (family night). See you tomorrow!!!
