Maggie
Our family is so sad tonight. Tomorrow morning we are going to say goodbye to a member of our family. Maggie has cancer and even though the doctor thought we would have plenty of time to love her and say goodbye after our trip things have changed and we have to let her go tomorrow. I so wanted to be there and can't tell you how bad I feel that Rita is having to deal with this. Once again she has shown us her unselfish love and understands just how much we are hurting because Maggie has been such a big part of my kid's lives. Rita thank you for loving her and being her nurse. I know she has been in good hands and I will always be thankful that you love her too. Say a little prayer for us tomorrow...it will be a hard day.

Last night on our way home from Odessa, the kids and I stopped by Rita's to give Maggie one last hug and say goodbye. There will never be another Maggie. We will miss her!
We're so sorry about Maggie. It was a sad day. She was a sweet little dog, and I know she was so special to your family. Mollie and Elle kept vigil over her so sweetly. And of course, Mom took such good care of her. Watching her suffer was so very sad. We are sad for you and have prayed that you could enjoy your vacation even as you grieve the loss of your sweet puppy. We love you!
Sorry about Maggie, guys. Emily and Ashley both cried, and we're all thinking about you all right now - especially Reagan. I'm sure it's been tough being away during all of this, but we hope that you will enjoy every bit of your vacation.
