Home again, home again!

I'm loving reading everyone's news on here. I'm still trying to figure out how to get my own account set up, but I'm confident that our family's own personal computer guru can help me out!

Congratulations, Randy, on the job. We celebrate God's provision and goodness with you! He is really moving around in your life, brother! I'm thrilled about the job and the opportunity for you to go to Sumatra. I sure hope you recorded the interview for the rest of us to see! Is there a place to go to see it online?

We are home safe and sound, exhausted and happy to be here! The trip was fairly uneventful, thanks to Grandma's help taking care of the kids' needs along the way (you know, a dropped baby doll, sun in the eyes, potty breaks, dirty diapers, etc.) I never cease to be amazed at the blessing of our mother! She is one incredible lady! Thanks, Mom, for giving so much of you to bless me! We enjoyed dinner with Dad at a little Brazilian "hole-in-the-wall" restaurant before we parted ways this evening. We made it home with only one stop because I forgot to feed Elijah before we left the restaurant. He reminded me a few miles down the road and we found a nice dark parking lot behind Wendy's for his dinner.

The kids were anxious to be home, although Katy cried because she couldn't see Abby Claire this morning. We are so thankful for wonderful cousins who make our kids feel so loved and special. It makes me so proud to have siblings who are raising such great kids. She cried again when we got home because she misses Grandma and Grandpa. They're pretty special, too!

Thank you, brothers (and sister-in-laws), for taking care of me and my kids. I may have neglected to say it in the moment--partly because I had no voice with which to speak, but I was so very grateful for your hands carrying Elijah, your attention to Alex and Katy, your encouragement of their relationships with your kids. We will treasure our memories of the slumber party and tea party with the 5-year-olds, as well as lots of other special memories. (My favorite has to be Bailey's face when she met Ellie, although the delight of her daddy, knowing what was about to happen, was pretty great too!)

Now, to find a place for that carload of loot!

Love you all,
Trisha

Yeah! You made it home! It was really good to get to see you in "mama action" with all your kiddos--and nieces--and nephews! You're an awesome mom, and still a really fun aunt, too! We all enjoyed getting to know Elijah better, and it's always fun to see Katy & Alex growing up with all the rest of the crew!
Good luck sorting through all the loot - I'm still "discovering" new stuff around here everyday! Love you!

Glad you are home. I'm sure you and the kids were ready to see Ben. My kids love spending time with the Tyler cousins. Thanks so much for coming to Connor's game...it meant a lot to him. Thank you for sharing Elijah with us...Bailey and I both need that baby fix every once in a while!
