job

Randy got the job in Como (although he doesn't have an official contract until they approve money from the hospital for the position)! God is GOOD.

Anyone have any thoughts about dogs? We're beginning to do research. Looking for a big one that looks intimidating, etc but doesn't act it. Thinking German Shepherd.

Randy is supposed to pack everything he needs for 2 weeks in a backpack. If you know anything about his packing methods, this is very amusing. This has been CF's week of prayer and fasting which ends tomorrow night. Starting Wed or whenever he leaves, he'll be eating military meals and protein bars on the trip. He's going to try and beef up over the next 3-4 days!! No bathrooms, sleeping on the floor in a sleeping bag, eating practically nothing, and wearing the same outfit for 2 weeks sounds like fun to him. God gives us all different gifts - ha!!

I'm getting addicted to this blog thing.

Wow! What a BIG week for you guys! How great God is to answer your prayers for Randy's job - how cool! Can't wait to see that come together.
Definitely wish we could watch Randy serve his heart out for 2 weeks- hope he posts a few pictures on our blog!
Love you!

Randy, congratulations on the JPS job. When do you start and exactly what will you be doing? What I remember is that when you first asked they did not have a position. Did they create one for you or did someone leave or what?

I am anxious to hear about the TV interview and the meeting in Waco yesterday afternoon. How did all of that go? There is enough interest in going to Thailand at GCR that they think they are going to have to organize more than one trip. Sid and Janelle Pennigton are leading the trip(s?).

Well, it seems you have plenty to keep your heart and mind running full speed these days. God bless you with peace as you deal with all these new things.

Love you lots,

Dad
