Getting ready for the snow

I also saw some pictures of the snow where we are going. It is a bit frightening to me. Hmm. I am busy getting my cold weather costume together. I think we are going to have fun, but it will be a different experience for me. I bought my first pair of ski bibs this weekend, and then I had to call Holly to find out how you are supposed to wear them. Melissa insisted I needed some UGGs, but I found a pair of real sheepskin look alikes at Big 5 for half off, so I indulged. Uggs are never on sale, from what I can tell. These were $35 instead of $130. I think they will serve well for me. I found some at Sams (real sheepskin) for dad for $20--even better. I don't know if they will fit or not, but I will make him try.

I sent a little digital camera to Randy (overnight) so he can hopefully fit it in his backpack and be able to share the pictures of his experience with us when he gets home. He said his biggest concern at the moment is whether he can get the supplies he needs into the two crates that are being packed today in Waco. Keep praying for all the logistics to work out.

I love you all. I am loving hearing from all of you regularly. I have a MCS Board meeting tonight. Dad has gone to a Prayer Summit with his Ministerial Alliance group and won't be back until tomorrow afternoon. Love, Mom
