Happy Birthday Mom!

Happy Birthday to the best Mom in the world! (according to me she is) You have taught me so much. I have learned how to be a good mom by the example you have set before me. I appreciate everything that you do and how you put your whole heart into everything. I thank God everyday that He chose you to be my mom. I love you so much!

Mom,
I'm not sure where you are in the world tonight, but I hope you at least get a chance to look at the blog. I love you. You really are a wonderful mom and grandma. Thank you for teaching me the Word of God when I was young. Thank you for the time you tried to make our whole family memorize the book of James, then let us all go skiing anyway even though we never really got past chapter one. I can still quote the first ten verses or so. Thanks for forcing me to do the fourth grade Tree of Knowledge, even if it was just because you didn't want Shawnna Hill to beat your son.
I pray for God to bless this year of your life with joy. I prayed again today for you to get your pictures done so you can tell the story of God to generations yet to come.
I love you,
Randy

I'm not sure this counts as wishing you happy birthday on your actual birthday since technically it is February 2 where you are, but happy birthday anyway! I've been working on a little woodworking project for you that I will give you when you get back. We love you lots!

Happy Birthday, Mom! Katy asked me tonight if you got to go where you wanted today. Our family tradition is that you get to choose where you want to eat on your birthday. I told her I thought maybe you got to be where you wanted. Then she said, "I wish she wanted to come home." Just in case you wondered if we missed you:)
I'm with Randy. I can still say the first 10 verses or so, but I will always remember (and try to pass on to the next generation) your priority of God's Word for our family. You have taught me so much about the art of hospitality and about the beauty of a well-packaged gift, about how to nurse my babies and about how to love them well. Thanks for being you! You are a great mom!

Happy Birthday Rita!! I know the Cowboys weren't playing tonight, but the game was amazing! We sure missed you at Allison's party today--but we'll celebrate when you get back!

May God bless this year in a special way! bw
