Op Camp Update

I like to see how the Lord works and how His timing is perfect. We had an advisory board dinner meeting at our house last p.m. and it was so cool to see black and white leaders from all different denominations coming together to see God do something in Fort Worth, specifically Como. We all prayed together at the end and it was powerful. It was also fun being with Van and Cindy. He's meeting with some of the TCU student leaders this Sunday and so I think they're going to come to church with us. Another black pastor called RB this a.m. and they will be having lunch next week - the racial reconciliation piece and building community among the poor is starting to happen. It just feels like the Lord and it's very cool.

Randy went to that Dave Ramsey conference with some guys from our small group last weekend and now he's officially cutting up our credit cards. Ha! As if he needed a lot of encouragement to do something like that!

Isaac has slept through the p.m. for the last several nights and we are praising the Lord!! He has come out of the colicky thing and is so sweet and content - makes us really thankful after the past couple of months!

Just wanted to write a little to let y'all in on the latest! Can't wait to hear about the trip!

So great about Op Camp/Como - it thrills Cary and I that you all are partnering up with Van and Cindy - we think that is a "God-thing!"
The pictures of Isaac make me melt - I especially love the black and white one - very professional - needs to be in a frame on the wall, quickly!
My trip with Cary was great - lots of special treatment as you can tell from the pictures - but it's always good to be home. Cary gets in about 1am tonight, and will fly out to the west coast on Sunday. Their team is doing an awesome job at presenting, but there are a lot of things "out of their control and in God's hands" that will really determine the outcome.
love you guys,
jill
