the lone out-of-towners
Well, I talked to Jill this week and she said that she guessed no one is blogging because you guys all know what's going on in each others' worlds right now. But us Fort Worth Browns out here in East Texas want to know about the new car, the "new" house, life at New Life, and any other interesting tidbits you may want to share. I'm just giving everyone a hard time! I've hardly had time to even get on the computer over the last couple of weeks - life really picks up in the Fall!
Life here is mostly about school work, soccer practices and games, and lots of baby showers (I think there are around 10-12 due in our little church right now)! Randy is busy with work and lots of meetings about the upcoming HopeFest events here in FW. He'll be in charge of the medical part again and he's also helping to coordinate a work day at Como Elementary. We're going to ACU for Homecoming next weekend (it's my 10 year) - it should be lots of fun. After all the October weekend events, we're somehow in November and it's countdown until #5! I painted the nursery last weekend, Moriah is adjusting well to being in a big bed in MK's room, and I've done a good chunk of Xmas shopping. There just isn't a whole lot of time left!
CF has its 40 Days of Community Kick off tomorrow night so pray for us if you think about it. We invited several neighbors and 2 couples looked like they were really going to do it, but we haven't heard back from them after following up a second time. Praying for next steps. I'm going to be doing a daytime group (we're actually doing 40...Purpose because they are unbelievers) with Kim, GLORIA, and another CF woman and her Chinese neighbor. Both of the lost women coming to this little group are from China and speak Mandarin; it seems really obvious that the Lord is putting this together. We're desperate for Him to move!!
Blah, blah, blah - just wanted to let you in on life here. We were sorry we had to miss your shower, April, but it sounded like it went great! Little Baby Lena and her new cousin will be here soon! I don't know about you, but we're pulling for November!
Love you all,
Anda

I'm glad everything is going well for yall. Mom is here this weekend for my shower that was this morning. It was small, but fun. Mom and I are working on getting a nursery together and having fun shopping. November would be fine, but not too early. My friend just had her baby girl 4 weeks early and she weighed 5 lbs. 7 oz. That's just a little too early for me. Two weeks early for me would be at Thanksgiving. We'll just see what happens.

I am so proud of you guys. Sounds like you are busy as ever. I hope you can get a little breath after soccer and before baby. (We are so loving not having soccer every Saturday!)
We sure love you and miss you!
