quick story
After watching the hurricane news with me yesterday morning, Katy sat down at the dining table and, with her saddest "such a shame" kind of face, said, "Mom, Mrs. Sippy lost her car in the flood." I was biting my cheeks trying not to laugh, so I didn't tell her that Mrs. Sippy is a state, but agreed that it is very sad that she's lost lots of cars in the flood.
Such a tender little heart!

Aunt April and I are glad that Mrs. Sippy is okay, but we also want to know how Mr. Sippy is doing. The cars are not important as long as Mr. Sippy is okay.
We have a number of refugees staying in Central Texas, including a family of 45 in San Marcos.
We'll be at the lake late Saturday or after church of Sunday. We're looking forward to seeing everyone then, and to the celebration with Allison.
