We made it!
Well folks, we are in one of the most amazing displays of God's handiwork I have ever seen. It is gorgeous. We got to the village to eat right at sundown, so we will have much more to see tomorrow. The snow is incredible. Some places it was above the car on both sides of the road. The icicles are beautiful and huge hanging from the roofs. We heard two men--obviously experienced skiers--say that this is the best snow they have seen in their lives. The weather is beautiful, but cold. It should be nice tomorrow. The skiers--everyone but Dale and I, Otis and Ann and Tom are getting an early start. I plan to feast my eyes on God's creation and take a few pictures that can't possibly do it justice.
We talked to Randy just before he left. He was so excited. Didn't God wire him in a wonderful way? He said that all his medical supplies worked out fine, which was the thing he seemed concerned about.
We will stay in touch. Jill did a fantastic job of all the planning and preparation, so we can all just relax and enjoy. I am so proud of her (and Cary).
Connor and Reagan, I am so very, very proud of you both. Can you even imagine how it makes a Grandma feel to hear those things about her grandsons? Thank you for all your hard work and good hearts. I love you both.
I am going to leave some room for Jill to blog a bit. We are settling in our little condo. I can't wait to see the view out our window tomorrow. Love, Mom
