Big birthday week

Lee Ann and Ben, thanks for the posts about the Bush welcome home party. It makes me proud of Midland. Many on the ship have commented favorably about the Bushes and Midland. Of course, I already mentioned that we are with a primarily over-70 crowd so they are not necessarily a cross section of Americans at this point.

Big 'Happy Birthday' greetings and wishes to Moriah (Monday), Cary (Thur) and Bailey (Sunday). As we visit with folks more or less in our station in life we realize again how blessed we are to have family that loves us and gives so many reasons to thank God for the lives you each live.

This morning in the devotional time the leader asked who each one would pray for. As many answered about loved ones in bad spiritual situations my mind naturally went to how grateful I am for the honor we receive as each one of you seeks to know God and follow the path He would lead you in. This week I am especially pleased to have Moriah, Cary and Bailey as part of my ‘paradise’ on earth.
