We set out on Wednesday morning with our driver to go to Corcovado--the famous Christ Statue on a mountain overlooking Rio. It was quite foggy and the statue couldn't be seen when we started out. We stopped at the Maracana soccer stadium on the way and found this old soccer player who always does tricks for the kids. I think it is the same man who entertained Hutton on his trip. We found out that there was to be a game that night and we got tickets--we were so excited about going to a professional soccer game in the Maracana.
