Our visit to Normandy was sobering. This is Reagan looking at one of the thousands of white marble crosses marking those who gave their lives to gain freedom for France and the rest of the world. This is one of the "unknowns" with the marking, "Here lies in honored glory a Comrade in Arms known but to God." All I could think is that it marks the grave of some mother's boy.
