Lena in the bluebonnets
Last week, I took Lena to a nearby soccer field that had some bluebonnets growing there, and took some pictures. Needless to say, it wasn't the easiest thing taking pictures of a two year old, because two year olds don't like to stay still for too long. Out of the 178 pictures that I took, I did get a few that seem to be good. Anyways, Lena had fun running around in the flowers. Towards the end, a grasshopper landed on her dress, and she wasn't sure what to think of it. She kept saying, "Get it off! Get it off!" She finally brushed it off herself. We may try again at a later date and see if she stays still then.

April, thanks for the great pictures. Bluebonnet season is one of my favorite times of the year and, of course, I always like to be involved in Lena's life even by looking at pictures of her. Love you. Dad
