Everything New

I love New Year's. I love "moving in" to a new calendar, thinking about what this year might hold, setting unreasonable and lofty goals for myself. It's a hopeful time. And today was even more special because we got to watch Emily, Ashley and Annie make a new commitment to Christ. What a beautiful day!

I'm wondering...if you had to pick an "anthem" for the new year, what would it be? Is there a song, or maybe a scripture that you want to be your theme for 2006?

I think mine will be the song, "Yes, Lord". It says, "I'm trading it all...for the joy of the Lord."
