Sunday night we went to Cangaru for church which is the congregation SerCris began with Zanatta as part of their practical training. Three years ago Dad offered to match the funds they could raise for a building in this very poor neighborhood. They have been working on it since then with their own funds and hands. Yesterday about 30 ladies met and insisted that it was time for the church to meet in the new building instead of the school where they had been meeting since The Browns were coming. They informed Zanatta of the decision of the church and we met with them in their new building for the first time. As you can see, it was packed. We LOVED the service, especially the singing. Holly observed that you could feel the presence of Jesus even without understanding the language.
