Canada, Day Two
This is Jill. I need a little help, here. Could someone (Lee Ann) please teach Cary the rest of the song, "Oh, Canada!"? That is all of the song he knows, and I'm losing it. He sings it compulsively - like a bad twitch.
We're having fun - went up on the Banff Gondola today. Our family decided to hike down, Grandma and Grandpa took the gondola - good choice. An hour and a half later, our family made it down the mountain.
Tomorrow the ice glaciers!

Sorry Jill, but he wouldn't use the rest of the words even if he knew them. And you can count on him singing it your entire time in Canada. It's how simple minds work. Looks like you guys are having a great time.
I would love to teach it to him but I can't really remember all the words! My brother J. sang it at the beginning of each school day so he remembers it well. That so reminds me of Tod...we have to sing something else to get it out of his head sometimes...just be thankful it isn't "It's raining men" that was an uncomfortable afternoon! Love you guys!
Okay Jill this is for you...my memory of "Oh Canada" as a preschooler!
Oh Canada!
Our strong and native land
True patriot love in all our sons command
With glowing hearts we see thee rise
The true north strong and free
From far and wide Oh Canada we stand on guard for thee
God keep our land, glorious and free
Oh Canada we stand on guard for thee!
Oh Canada we stand on guard for thee!
Remember the Canadian accent though or it just isn't the same!
Maybe I should have googled those words...oh well I think I am close.
Everything looks beautiful - wish we were there with you! Blessings on the rest of your trip!
