This statue is of the famous Cardinals player, Stan Musial. When my dad was 13yrs. old, he was trying to get Stan's autograph at a game. After Stan had walked by, my dad yelled out "Stan, Stan! I named my baby brother after you!" Stan stopped, turned around and signed my dad's autograph book. My dad said Stan didn't say anything like, "Did you really name him after me?" Of course, my dad REALLY did name is youngest brother after his hero, Stan Musial.
