clot trot

Okay, I hate doing this, but my sweet children are into this whole competition thing and blogging this is easier than calling everyone (my kids made Luke call Aunt Jill yesterday because they knew he would ask for anything they told him to - like $100/lap!! Good grief!). Anyway, Luke's kindergarten teacher had some complications this summer after giving birth and ended up with some pretty high medical expenses. Some parents put together a fairly informal "Clot Trot" in which the students ran laps yesterday with sponsers to try and raise money. We, being so on top of things, are just now trying to get a few more sponsers. If any of you would like to sponser per lap or just make a flat donation, that would be wonderful (the kids are trying to win class competitions, etc.). If you don't want to, please know that we COMPLETELY understand!! They are sponsered per 1/2 mile. Here are the results of their little run yesterday: McKenna = 3 miles; Josiah = 5.5 miles (he was a machine!); Luke = 2.5 miles. They have to have their money turned in by Wednesday this next week.
