I try to post every now and then just because I love reading everyone else's blogs so much. It seems that a lot is happening in our family at the moment. I am really getting excited about Anda and April. I am getting my suitcase ready.
I laughed and laughed at Randy's blog, although I know it really isn't funny. I am studying Joseph in my Beth Moore study right now (Patriarchs), and I can see some applications for Randy with God's sovereign, unique and sometimes difficult to discern plan for his life. I love it that he is able to see it all with some humor sometimes.
Molly is home and recuperating at a slow pace. We go to the vet tomorrow to remove the bandage and look at the incision. They should also have the lab results tomorrow which will tell us more about the type of tumor and any follow up treatment recommended.
No one blogged about the big football game last Saturday night. Mitch and Connor played their playoff game at Grande Stadium--a team they hadn't beat in 3 years. Within about 3 minutes the other team had scored twice, made two 2-point conversions and the score was 16-0. it didn't look promising, but our little Ravens battled back. In the second half they finally scored a touchdown and made it 16-8. Mitch, playing defense, helped shut the other team down for the whole game except for the first three minutes. With less than two minutes left in the game, Connor scored a touchdown to tie the game. Then in overtime Connor scored the go ahead touchdown and Mitch helped break up the last two pass plays of the other team so we won 24-16 in overtime. It was one of the most exciting come-backs we have been a part of. We were all yelling and jumping up and down. We thoroughly enjoyed the Brown cousins debut in Grande Stadium. I flew back from College Station to see it, and it was definitely worth my effort.
Friday is Grandparents Day. The grandkids are all sure that we will win (most grandkids at MCS) this year with 13. I have to play my president's role, so it is more stressful than just trying to find the classroom of each of the 13 grandkids. I am so thankful that MCS is available for our grandkids.
I am going to post a few pictures just for fun. Everyone stay in touch. I read every word. I love you all. Every day I count my blessings, and that takes awhile, because it includes each and every one of you. Mom
